About
We build simple, decent homes for people in need. Our chapter attempts to address the need for affordable housing in Monterey County through the use of volunteer labor and donated funds and materials. Our goal is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth and make local citizens aware of and active in these goals. Internationally, Habitat has now constructed more than 400,000 homes in 87 countries.
