About

Marine Life Studies (MLS) is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to teaching and inspiring the public to protect whales, dolphins and the oceans. MLS offers free educational programs to children through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County that is funded through the MLS Joey Jones Scholarship & Educational Fund. Peggy Stap, MLS Founder and Director of Research and Education, operates boat-based research surveys and shares data. MLS needs funding for: Green Research Boat; Operating Expenses; Fuel; Education Fund; Class Materials; Tools and Supplies.
