About
Partners For Peace is a proactive violence prevention organization dedicated to cultivating peace by improving the health of our youth and families. Toward this vision, we offer the nationally recognized Strengthening Families Program to strengthen the family unit, improve communication and promote healthy development of youth. SFP promotes family values and relationships and teaches skills through an 8 week class. Parents and youth ages 10-16 years attend class together. We build strong families! Families practice new skills like problem solving, how to conduct family meetings and how to set clear family rules. Youth learn vital skills to resist peer pressure and how to set goals. Families participate in fun activities that help clarify family values, highlight the unique strengths of each family and build stronger family bonds. We build strong families for a more peaceful future.
